Effective Hamiltonian approach to periodically perturbed quantum optical systems

Abstract

We apply the method of Lie-type transformations to Floquet Hamiltonians for periodically perturbed quantum systems. Some typical examples of driven quantum systems are considered in the framework of this approach and corresponding effective time dependent Hamiltonians are found. © 2005 Elsevier B.V.
