Abstract

Current educational trends give special relevance to the results obtained by students at the end of their learning process. They argue that the entire educational experience must be designed around the results that students must achieve. In this sense, the monitoring of students becomes an important tool to evaluate their progress. There are various proposals in this regard, but not all of them can effectively monitor the achievement of results, since they do not derive their indicators directly from these results. This article proposes a methodological approach that seeks to correct this situation, generating a follow-up process that allows evidence of the achievement or progress of a student concerning a learning outcome. Then, the approach supports the teacher in managing their students’ learning. In addition, an evaluation of this approach shows a positive trend towards its future adoption, considering it as a useful tool for managing a course.
