Realidad Aumentada: propuesta metodológica para la didáctica de diseño industrial en el ámbito universitario

Abstract

The purpose of this communication is to show a step-by-step description for the application of new computer tools in higher education classrooms in order to facilitate the learning of students' spatial reasoning, as well as to increase the motivation for learning knowledge and typical topics of the branch, in the course of industrial design and technical drawing for the career of industrial civil engineering, through the visualization and manipulation of three-dimensional virtual objects. A collection of geometric figures have been developed with the help of technological tools such as 2D and 3D modeling software, computer-aided design program and augmented reality application software. A methodology is proposed by implementing the latest versions of these programs, thus establishing an updated procedure and available to any professional for its implementation.
