Abstract

Identifying people at risk for developing severe psychiatric di- sorders and intervening early to prevent their development or improve their long-term prognosis has been the main driver of early interven- tion programs. Reducing transition to psychosis in this population is possible through systematic intervention strategies. This narrative review aims to review current knowledge about early intervention from a clinical perspective and propose a contingent and progressive approach in the high-risk and early psychosis population.
