Automatic formwork system and method for flexible elastic membrane moulds
Abstract
The invention relates to an automatic formwork system and method (100) using flexible moulds, which comprises: an elastic membrane (10) that is supported by a plurality of supporting modules (60), arranged next to one another along a horizontal longitudinal axis or X axis of a flexible mould or part to be moulded (50); where each supporting module (60) is made up of a first pulling unit (20) in combination with a first pushing unit (30) and a second pulling unit (20) in combination with a second pushing unit (30), where the two combinations are arranged opposite one another at a predetermined distance; where each pair of pulling units (20) is arranged opposite the other, in a direction perpendicular to the X axis, and the respective pushing units (30) thereof are arranged between the two; where the combination of supporting modules (60) supports an elastic membrane mould (10) with the flexible mould (50), which is secured via reinforced eyelets (11) distributed on both edges parallel to the horizontal longitudinal axis of the flexible mould (50); where each of the pulling units (20) is made up of a first linear actuator (21) and a second linear actuator (28) arranged horizontally and a third linear actuator (24) arranged vertically,, the three linear actuators (21, 24, 28) enabling the movement in the respective positions thereof on a horizontal sliding platform (22); and where the elastic membrane (10) is previously deformed according to an approximation of the prior design of a part to be moulded (50), and pre-tensioned according to a mathematical prediction of the deformation thereof after receiving a conglomerate in liquid or plastic state.
