Abstract

We propose a reading on affections and political experience, based on the actions and questions that articulated the Coordinadora de Feministas Jóvenes (CFJ) -later Circo Feminista-, an autonomous grouping formed by women between 15 and 35 years old in Santiago de Chile since 2000. The rescue of the history of this organization, which was situated in a political-identitarian place based on the generational and sexual difference, allows us to question the supposed feminist silence of the post-dictatorship, referring to the transitional process when the notions of feminism and citizenship were linked to the promises of equality and social justice; as well as to create a bridge between the feminists of the eighties and the current ones through a work of memory. For this we recovered written and visual archives produced by the CFJ in the period, from which we reflected on the proposals and interpretative frameworks of this collective, analyzing their aesthetic practices and production of communicative artifacts. Thus, we find the emergence of nodes flattened by the consensus agreements of this period: the body, sexuality and autonomy; the critique of reproductive mandates; the generational question as well as the affections and the intention of horizontality, as a production of feminist subjectivities in resistance to the practices of exclusion within feminism and society of the period.
