Abstract

This article supposes an analysis of nature and materiality of class struggle; therefore, its main objective is to disentangle some of the architectural aspects that articulate its current moment in Chile. For this purpose, the analysis has been divided into four paragraphs in which—from a materialistic and micropolitical approach—a dimension of class struggle in the neoliberal context is considered. The first paragraph addresses the neoliberal dynamics and its rational configuration as a strategy that weakens the political condition of the social contract and, therefore, promotes the precariousness of life in all its dimensions. The second paragraph analyzes two mechanisms of social control that are self-administered by the individual, but which he tries to resist. Subsequently, the third paragraph reflects on the individual's possibilities of curving the political trajectories of his existence from protest and the incubation of an insurrectional germ. Finally, the fourth paragraph addresses protest as an instrument that allows the individual to turn sensitive another reading of reality as long as he does not abdicate it, generating the condition of possibility of a future revolutionary offensive.
