Del Pato Donald a Donald Trump. Una revisión distópica desde el pensamiento de M. Foucault.

Browne, R.

Abstract

This article intends to make a journey from 1) the critical work that Ariel Dorfman and Armand Mattelart published -in the seventies- about Walt Disney's Donald Duck strips and their influences in the societies of that time, to 2) the new paradigms that occurred around Donald Trump in relation to the societies of simulation and the excess of images that overflow and exhaust daily life in the media. This excess of simulated images, among other things, meant that in October 2019, Chileans took to the streets to burst out socially.
