Abstract

The growing interest in the research of reading comprehension in the acquisition of a second language has focused the attention on the strategies used by the learners to carry out the process of reading. Reading comprehension strategies are relevant in the sense that they help identify the way in which the learner organises and assesses the completion of a task, interacts with the learning material applying specific resources and, uses means related to social interaction.
