DESARROLLO DE LAS COMPETENCIAS EMOCIONALES EN LOS DOCENTES COMO MÉTODO PARA RESOLUCIÓN DE CONFLICTOS EN EL AULA

Abstract

This article arises from the need to change the paradigm on which teachers as guides in the training of students, who are moderate conflict resolution in the classroom through strategies acquired during the course of their work, usually as an external agent to the conflict itself. For this reason, and in order to achieve a comprehensive education, the proposed objective is on one hand, give teachers the basics of emotional intelligence, and secondly, they encourage management of emotional intelligence for conflict resolution. Interview, observation and content analysis: techniques to achieve these goals that respond to a qualitative approach was used. The research was conducted with teachers of the Education Unit of the Santa Maria Trinidad. The main results of the interest evidenced by teachers develop their emotional skills to improve methods of conflict resolution and managing their emotions in the classroom, without these affect their academic performance.
