Abstract

In this work, we present the development and implementation of a mobile platform/application to measure learning potential class to class, by means of perform pre and post test questions to first year students studying the course Physics I. Through this mobile application, the instructor can take the pretest and obtain its results immediately and make decisions since he knows the complete statistics of his section. For instance, going forward with the topics of the class, and/or pause to review any relevant subject not completely understood by the students. In addition, since the measurement can individualize students and their answers, this kind of tool could be useful to identify students belonging to the minority which did not learn some topic, being important to complement their learning to achieve knowledge as the entire group. We believe the implementation of this tool is useful to know the students´ learning, and then guide the training focusing on the weakness of a topic.
