Analysis of pole location control, LQR control and LMI control applied to a magnetic levitation with uncertain in parameter

Abstract

This paper presents the analysis of Pole Location (PL) Control, Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) control and Lineal Matrix Inequation (LMI) control used in a magnetic levitator system. The responses obtained with each of them will be compared, in order to determine which is the most appropriate to use in this system. The results clearly show the robustness of the LMI control compared to the rest.
