Abstract

Technique progress is driving the adoption of educational data mining and learning analytics in education research and education environment. A big challenge when implementing the methods of them is lack of effective knowledge representation and processing. In this paper, we discuss the features of education data used in education research and demonstrates the possibility of using fuzzy set and its extension as a tool to get richer information and insight from the data.
