Family Public Policy Networks: A Bourdieu-informed analytical proposal
Abstract
The comparison between the traditional analysis of public policy networks (PPN) and elements of the theoretical-methodological framework that Pierre Bourdieu developed for the study of social fields, allows the formulation of a proposal for analysis that complements approaches usually used to study networks. The proposal for analysis is based on a case study of the work undertaken by the Presidential Advisory Commission on Women, Work and Motherhood, created by Chilean president Sebastian Phiera in 2010.
