Cardiac patient with asystole: a case report

Abstract
Asystole, or cardiac arrest, is the cessation of a person's heart at this time, timing is very important, action must be taken immediately, and appropriate treatment prescribed. Asystole is caused by diseases and conditions that may be specific to the heart (coronary heart disease) or non-cardiac (trauma, hemorrhage, asphyxia, and intoxication). The objective is to determine the management of patients with asystole to introduce new or educational aspects of the disease. The methodology used was a retrospective descriptive method with a clinical history collection technique that reviewed pathological history, personal history, signs and symptoms, cause of asystole and treatment given to the patient. The results based on the review of the clinical history of the patient with asystole, it was found that it was a paralysis of systemic functions caused by changes in the cardiac muscle, so maneuvers were performed to resuscitate the heart, but in the second episode he did not overcome it, the asystole continued, and the patient died. The conclusions that this study provided all the legal basis for data collection, identity preserved in all claims, supported by scientific verification Scopus, Pubmed for relevant discussion. Eventually, it was concluded that only one in 100 people suffering from asystole will die.
