Abstract

This paper aims at examining the national standards on access to environ-mental information and their compatibility with international standards enshrined in the Escazú Agreement. According with our understanding, even though there has been some progress in the national legal system, the national standards should be updated in the light of the recent developments incorporated into the Escazú Agreement.
