Journalism-based learning: didactic innovation to teaching in library science Periodismo para el aprendizaje: innovación didáctica en la enseñanza de la bibliotecología
Abstract
The purpose of the present work is to validate a didactic proposal that is part of the concept of "journalism-based learning" for students of the Librarianship career of the University of Playa Ancha, Chile, within the framework of the Management of Information Units I. To respond to the proposed objective, a questionnaire with mixed characteristics -quantitative and qualitative- was applied, which was answered by 14 academics who valued the relevance of the proposal and suggested a set of adjustments for its application. Among the conclusions are: the contributions that "journalism for learning" implies in the way of facing university teaching didactics, since it becomes a potential tool that will help students to become responsible for their own learning, being potentially replicable in other formative contexts.
