Torque control with MPC applied to a SynRM

Abstract

In this work a model predictive control applied to a synchronous reluctance machine is carried out. The control is applied on the currents in quadrature through the torque reference, by predictive control by model in maximum torque per ampere mode without considering saturation and losses in the iron. The implementation of the control algorithm in the synchronous reluctance machine that validates the proposal was carried out with a dSPACE 1103 programmed using Simulink.
