Abstract

The 19th version of the International Conference of Production Research (ICPR19) took place in August 2007. Twenty-six of the submissions to ICPR19 were evaluated and finally selected to be published. Collaboration is present in the researches by Velásquez and Nof, Huang and co-workers, and Cauvin and colleagues which cover interesting aspects of collaboration among enterprises from the perspective of protocols in supply chains and assembly operations, and agent modeling for cooperative problem solving. Matsui proposes a stochastic model for evaluating the integration of production and sales function in different specialized enterprises. Garrido presented a model for assisting in the distribution network design decision, considering service level and inventory decisions. Pinheiro et al proposed a process to integrate operations strategy content to the design of the performance measurement system in the enterprise.
