Adjustment in Luminance and Color Spaces to Generate Visible Contrasts in People with Abnormal Trichromatic Color Blindness

Abstract

The perception of color allows visibility in individuals but is something relative to the subject and the light of the surrounding environment. Such perception is given by two types of cells in the eyes, cones and gallons. Deficiency in the capture of light in some of these cells causes colors to be perceived in different ways, from the absence of a color to the confusion between shades. In this article we present a method of adjustment in luminance and color spaces to generate visible contrasts in people with abnormal trichromatic color blindness.
