Vibration Analysis and Mitigation Techniques for Electrical Drives in Electric and Hybrid Vehicles

Abstract

This present document is a brief of the techniques and strategies of active control to identify, analyze and decrease the vibrations in the permanent magnet synchronous motors with a focus on electric and hybrid vehicles, where the control techniques seen are focused on predictive control combined with other strategy that maximum torque per amp, finite state analysis, duty cycle with updated machine parameters or direct torque control, also, the use of fourier transforms to determine vibration spectrum, in addition, a small analysis is made about the type of electric machines, influence of current harmonics and use of neural networks to optimize control. This research have not experimental results and simulations, is just a recopilation of the articles studied.
