Abstract

This research explores the state of technological adoption in agriculture in the Maule Region, Chile, based on a review of the scientific literature. The study focuses on analyzing how different types of agricultural companies in the region have adopted emerging digital technologies. The article provides a comprehensive view of the digitalization landscape in the agricultural sector by identifying the key factors influencing adoption decisions, challenges faced, and perceived opportunities. The findings outline patterns of technology adoption among small, medium, and large producers, highlighting both successful implementations and areas that require attention. This study serves as a reference framework to understand technological evolution in the Maule Region and contributes to the global discourse on digital transformation in agriculture.
