Neopamera bilobata (Say, 1831) (Heteroptera: Rhyparochromidae): new distributional records and the first teratological case for the species

Abstract

First records from Peru, Bolivia and Chile are given for the seed bug Neopamera bilobata. Additionally, the first teratological case is described based on a Chilean specimen. The teratosis correspond to an antennal oligomery. The significance of the new record is described, and illustrations; as well as identification notes are provided.
