Abstract
This work focuses on the rule contained in article 57.1, letter c) of the Chilean Bankruptcy Act (Law 20.720). It analyses the scope of the prohibition of unilateral termination of contracts signed by the debtor, in order to determine how this rule affects, or may affect, the effectiveness of other rules âboth conventional (contractual clauses) and legalâ that authorize the unilateral termination of the contract.
