Design of a 3D-Printed Lens For Ka-Band
Abstract
This article presents the design and simulation of a 3D-printed hyperbolic flat lens in the Ka-band. Two lenses were simulated using filaments with different permittivities, varying the infill to obtain the desired permittivities. In addition, the simulations were done using the same structure resulting from a 3D printing software, in terms of the filament distribution and infill pattern, showing differences between the simulations with both construction methods. Simulations show differences on the radiation pattern obtained with the two constructed methods.
