Abstract

The results of a qualitative research that seeks to understand experiences and social relations around the use of menstrual/reproductive/sexual apps among university women in southern Chile, are presented. Two focus groups were carried out to analyse initial experiences of use, related concerns and interests, social tensions, and the construction of social relations. The conclusions provide elements for the understanding of the phenomenon and the questioning of heteronormative and patriarchal visions of technology and its effects on the construction of their identities.
