Abstract
Uterine rupture is an obstetric complication that, although infrequent, requires urgent and adequate management in order to avoid lethal maternal and fetal consequences. Major risk factors involve previous uterine scars including those post-cesarean and post-myomectomy. Recently, adenomyomectomy is described like a risk factor. It could be associated with extensive damage to the myometrial tissue, due to more difficult suturing and coagulation. We report a case of a spontaneous uterine rupture in a pregnant woman at 35th week of gestation, who had undergone previous laparoscopic adenomyomectomy
