Abstract

The novels Las indignas(2023) by Agustina Bazterrica and La puerta del cielo(2018) by Ana Llurba depict a dystopian setting where the essential characteristic is violence against women within a sectarian environment. The article analyzes how the protagonists of these works develop metaphorical and dialogical mechanisms of survival in response to this violence;first in relation to an entomological imaginary and second through a testimonial practice. These strategies constitute a textual translation of the negotiations and resistances of a female collective in the liminal context of patriarchal violence
