Ideologías lingüísticas y posicionamientos políticos en el debate en torno al Lenguaje no Sexista en columnas de opinión digitales chilenas (2018-2024): un estudio glotopolítico.
Keywords: critical discourse analysis, glotopolitics, Non-Sexist Language, Opinion Columns, Chilean Press.
Abstract
In the debate surrounding Non-Sexist Language (NSL), linguistic ideologies circulate that reflect different political positions and power relations in dispute. Using a glotopolitical approach and following the guidelines of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), particularly the historical-discursive approach (DHA) proposed by Ruth Wodak, this study analyzed 39 opinion columns published between 2018 and 2024 in Chilean digital press. The goal was to explore the linguistic ideologies and political positions associated with the debate. The results show how the opinion columns construct social actors who either reinforce or challenge androcentric and hierarchical regimes of normativity, through the reproduction of or resistance to the ideologies that support them.
