Abstract

Neurodegenerative Ataxias results in balance and coordination disorders, jerks and dizziness among other symptoms. Studies suggest that Rehabilitation and new therapeutic methods such c-tDCS may improve cerebellum motor symptoms. However, the effects of using the combined technique of c-tDCS and Neurological Physiotherapy (Neuro-PT) on postural adjustments are still unknown. We hypothesized that c-tDCS can be facilitate a better cerebellar function when combined to a specific personalized Neuro-PT.
