Abstract

We consider the singular nonlinear equation ut??u=|?|??f(u) in RN×(0,T) with ?>0 and f?C([0,?)) non-decreasing. This equation is known in the literature as the Hardy parabolic equation when f(u)=up, p>1. We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions for initial data in the uniformly local Lebesgue spaces improving results given in the context of Lebesgue spaces. © 2025 Elsevier Inc.
