Abstract

Universities have committed to the creation of University Innovation Spaces (ISU) to support and strengthen the missions defined by UNESCO. However, despite the rise of such spaces, there is a gap in the literature regarding the characterization and comparative analysis of various ISUs, which currently operate with limited involvement with spaces from other disciplines. It is in this context that the present study focuses on identifying and characterizing existing ISU, recognizing their similarities, differences, and complementarities, along with establishing their current maturity status, with the aim of providing relevant information for the development of strategies that promote cooperation and integration among these spaces.
