The genus Lygaeus Fabricius, 1794 (Heteroptera: Lygaeidae) in Bolivia

Abstract
The species of the small milkweed bug genus Lygaeus from Bolivia are revised. New records are provided for Lygaeus alboornatus. Lygaeus froeschneri is recorded for the first time in the country, and Lygaeus doumai sp. nov. is described from Cochabamba. A key to the Bolivian species of Lygaeus is provided.
