Abstract

Entrepreneurial innovation and educational robotics are transforming the educational field. The purpose of the study carried out in the Biobío region, Chile, with 252 teachers from sixteen establishments, was to analyze the teachers' perception of innovation, entrepreneurship and the use of educational robotics, identify gender differences, years of service and teacher training and examine the relationships between these variables and with sociodemographic characteristics. The study, with a quantitative, transversal, descriptive and correlational approach, used a 43-item questionnaire called "Perception on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Educational Robotics in Education (EIRE)". The results show that teachers value pedagogical innovation and the promotion of entrepreneurial skills from an early age, however, they face challenges in their training. There is debate about the integration of robotics in the curriculum, despite recognizing its usefulness in the educational process
