Abstract

Introduction: Initial teacher training has been the object of study considering its impact on educational systems. Methodology: In this context, the objective of the research is to know the state of the art of mathematics didactic training of future kindergarten educators. For this purpose, secondary sources of information were reviewed using a systematic review methodology. Results: The results showed that the disciplinary knowledge of mathematics and its didactics in future early childhood educators is insufficient to ensure positive results in early childhood. Discussion: Consequently, the need to strengthen teacher training in mathematics didactics in kindergarten education has been established. The literature review carried out allowed us to observe weaknesses in mathematics didactics in the training of kindergarten educators. Conclusions: Therefore, there is a need to strengthen teacher training in mathematics didactics in kindergarten education. © 2025, HISIN (History of Information Systems). All rights reserved.
