Abstract
This paper aims to address the following research question: How are agrifood companies configured in terms of sustainable performance? This study performs an exploratory quantitative analysis assessing the level of sustainable performance of 480 agrifood firms in Brazil (376) and Chile (104). A cluster analysis was performed to do this. We also compared the sustainable performance of companies in these two countries. This study answers calls for more focus on the sustainability of the agrifood systems in South America and more cross-country investigations, especially from developing economies. © 2024 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
