Abstract

Digital transformation is a necessary step in the evolution of organizations. Boosting the competitiveness of organizations by improving effectiveness and efficiency in their management. Particularly in project-oriented organizations, digital transformation processes must put the generation of value and internal and external customer satisfaction at the center. These types of organizations have historically worked using traditional methods. However, the development of BIM technologies and the adoption of agile methodologies have changed the way things are done. This work presents a model for the digital transformation and improvement of project-oriented organizations that combine computational intelligence techniques and business architectures. The validation of the proposal is carried out based on a case study in an organization oriented to the development of software projects. The validity of the proposal and the gradual improvement in the organization’s value generation chain are demonstrated.
