3D-printed Flat Dielectric Lenses Using Split-pin Unit Cell
Keywords: 3d, printing; graded index; lenses
Abstract
This article presents two different 3D-printed dielectric lenses, a Luneburg and a Gutman lens, which use a split-pin unit cell in a parallel plate waveguide implementation. The split-pin allows to generate higher refractive indices by allocating a high permittivity slab on top of a lower permittivity pin, which facilitates the manufacturing. © 2024 IEEE.
