Abstract

The reaction of CpFe(dppe)l with disulphides S 2R 2 R = CH 3, C 3H 7, CH 2-C 6H 5, C 6H 5 in presence of NH 4PF 6 afford the unexpectedly oxidized thiolate complexes [CpFe(dppe)SR]PF 6 instead the expected disulphide complexes. The paramagnetic 17 ? complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV, visible spectral data as well as magnetic methods.
