Abstract

A field experiment was conducted in order to study the response of asparagus UC 72 to different levels of water application under drip irrigation. The amount of water applied has a remarkable effect in yield and development of asparagus. Higher yield was obtained with a level of water reposition equivalent to 100% of pan evaporation. Asparagus water requirements under drip irrigation is 6000 m 3/ha.
