Abstract

During the last decades, there have been several changes in the Higher Education system, and especially in the University system. For the purposes of this study, the main transformation and wherewefocus our interest, is in the installation of academic capitalism. In this framework, according to the teachers' speech in the university, we can distinguish how academics and teachers organize their work in the contemporary university, seeking to access part of the subjective senses that these actors construct in relation to their work. Thereby, seven interviews are carried out with academics and teachers of the social sciences, performing a analysis through the Nuclei of Significance methodology
