Abstract

The Calan-Tololo survey of emission-line galaxies, quasars, and galaxies with strong ultraviolet excess is described. The first list containing information for 30 Seyfert 1 galaxies is presented. This survey is an extension of the original Tololo survey started by Malcolm Smith a decade ago.
