Graduated in Geological Sciences at the University of Concepción in 1999. After degree, I received a grant from the Italian Government, doctorate student at University of Trieste (IT) and National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS) for 3 years. During this period, my main topic was to study gas hydrate and free gas occurrences along Chilean margin. My studies were focused on standard and advanced processing of marine multichannel seismic data. In particular, I applied pre-stack depth migration in order to determine accurate velocity models by using Seismic Unix and scripts and codes created ad hoc. I also used the velocity models to estimate gas hydrate and free gas concentrations using a procedure developed at OGS. I performed advanced processing (true amplitude processing) in order to apply amplitude analysis, such as seismic attribute analysis. From 2009 to 2013 I develope post-doctoral research at the University of Barcelona in collaboration with the ICM-CSIC, sponsored by Chilean and Spanish governments. During my working experience (2009-2013) at ICM-CSIC I performed several techniques to attenuate the multiple reflections using commercial software (Globe-Claritas). Additionally, in the framework of national and international projects I participated in several oceanografic cruises and geophysical field works. Since 2014 relocated to Valparaíso, Chile at the Universidad Andres Bello. m professor of geology and I'm developing research related with marine geology, in particular gas hydrates and methane emanations along Chilean margin.
