I have been training Roger Galindo in neutrino physics. He is beginning to work on an analysis (ratio of cross sections with the production of a neutral pion versus charged hadron multiplicity) with MINERvA and has been working on a toy analysis for a proposed detector in the ANDES laboratory. He is preparing his first paper on pion production in the Medium Energy beam and then will complete his thesis and start his second paper on charged hadron multiplicity in 2018.
I have been training Barbara Yaeggy in neutrino physics. She has begun work on an analysis (Charged Current interactions with Neutral Pions and Protons in the Final State at the MINERvA Detector) with MINERvA and has been actively working on developing deep convolutional neural networks for semantic segmentation and Particle Identification (of protons and neutral pions). I expect she will graduate in 2019.
Additionally I have trained numerous other students in particle physics techniques and analysis in the classes Experimental Physics for graduate students ( The experimental physics required course had previously only been available with condensed matter related lectures and laboratory projects; I created a particle physics option which contained particle physics related lectures and laboratory project) and Particle Physics 1.

I have made numerous seminars about neutrino physics, machine learning and astrophysics at universities in Chile including Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria, Universidad de Chile and Pontifical Universidad Catholica de Chile and at the High Energy Physics in the LHC Era workshops.
