Formación de Capital Humano

Currently, I am full time faculty in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Unversidad Técnica Federico Santa María and a part-time research faculty in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Universidad de Concepción. I am the founder and leader of the Computational nanoLab wherein I am the main supervisor of 5 PhDs and 2 MSc students working in Nanofluidics and atomistic simulations of fluidic devices with 3 PhD alumni. Moreover, in the same Department, I am the cosupervisor of 2 PhD students, one working in Technical University of Denmark on heat Nanoscale transfer and other working at UDEC on Biotechnology and drug delivery. I was the main supervisor of 1 already completed master thesis and also the main advisor of 8 completed professional degree projects since 2013. From September 2017 to March 2018 I was in charge of the Subdirection of Research at the Chemical Engineering Department UDEC.

Premios y Distinciones

  •   Asignación por mérito Académico

    UNIVERSIDAD DE CONCEPCION

    Chile, 2015

I obtained a recognition/award (Asignación Académica) by competition for outstanding research and academic performance from the Faculty of Engineering at UDEC 2015-2018.
