carolina Isabel Flores Bahamonde
Associate professor I
Universidad de Santiago de Chile
Santiago, Chile
Over the last nine years, my research has been focused on heat and mass transfer studies for sorption systems. Analytical models and numerical simulation of diffusion in fluids, porous materials and solids are my principal research field.

2012-2013. Internship tutor
During my PhD, I guided two engineering internships. Students from University Joseph Fourier – Grenoble 1 (France) followed a semester in LOCIE laboratory. Their tasks were divided into two main areas: setup assistance and instrumentation assistance. The first task was conception and design of some elements in an absorption machine (build from scratch), considering low pressure requirements. The second task was create a measurement protocol with a multiple channel analog-digital interface.
