During the last 15years I have participated in many activities related to the transfer of research to the relevant productive/governmental sectors.
I have advised the Chilean antitrust authority in a collusion case against tissue producers, the government in the procurement of new infrastructure for harbor and the design of a new bankruptcy law. In a related line, I have advised the government in the design of assignment mechanisms for students to schools and students to colleges. Moreover, I have participated in studies regarding the energy markets in Chile and the effects of fraud in sick permit leaves}.
Also related to public policy, I can mention my participation in the book "95 Propuestas para un Chile Mejor", where I wrote chapters in competition law and health systems. In the same vein , I published a chapter in the book "Propuestas para un Chile Mejor 2020" (about competition law in Chile, joint with Umut Aydin) and "Propuestas para un Chile Mejor 2020" (about the centralized admission system for school students, joint with Kenzo Asahi).
I have also participated in many activities related to the dissemination of scientific knowledge to society. in particular, I have participated in an economics course for high-school teachers, and presented my research in high schools, auctions and sick permit leaves in many occasions.
