I supervised one Ph.D., three M.Sc., and three honours students to completion, each having been trained in field and lab techniques. These students co-authored one to three scientific articles each and secured scholarships to continue their career in academia. I am now co-supervising three additional HDR students in the TrEnD laboratory at Curtin University.
I generated pilot meta-barcoding data within the TrEnD laboratory at Curtin University using our TRACE clean-room and next-generation sequencing instruments (Illimuna technologies) in order to detect invasive mammals in Chilean watershed samples.
