2020 – teach the graduate elective course “Emprendimientos y Comunidades Resilientes y Sostenibles” (Resilient and Sustainable Businesses and Communities) for the master’s programme on Local and Regional Human Development, Universidad de La Frontera, Temuco, Chile.
2017-2020 – teach the undergraduate graduate obligatory course “Negocios internacionales” (International Business) for the undergraduate Business Administration programme at fcje.ufro.cl, Universidad de La Frontera, Temuco, Chile. This course is taught bilingually and from the global entrepreneurship perspective to strengthen the Area of Entrepreneurship at the Business School of Universidad de La Frontera.
2019 – gave a public lecture on “Indigenous Entrepreneurs as Protagonists of the UN Agenda 2030 and Knowledge for Resilient Businesses” at the open seminar “Culturally Sustainable Mapuche Tourism”, organized by Sociedad Turismo Mapuche and FCJE-UFRO.
2016-2019 – taught the graduate elective course “Lo global y lo local: movilidades de personas, ideas, capitales” (The global and the local: mobility of people, ideas, capitals) for the master’s programme on Local and Regional Human Development, Universidad de La Frontera, Temuco, Chile.
2018 – gave a guest lecture on “Tourism Business Model Innovation for Co-Creating Social Value in Emerging Economy Destinations” at Associate Professor Helene Balslev Clausen’s “Global Tourism Development” course, Aalborg University Copenhagen, on 26 of September 2018. Sponsored by LMT project Nr. 09.3.3-LMT-K-712-07-0028 and ISM University of Management and Economics.
2018 – gave a public lecture on “Knowledge creation for future ‘glocal’ economies” as part of the ECOTONOS project on the topic of “Innovations in Social Economy” organized by AraucaniaHub and FCJE-UFRO in April 2018, in Temuco, Chile.
2011-2013 – taught the semester elective course “Inglés Jurídico” (Legal English) and Thesis (graduate) for the law degree programme students of the Faculty of Juridical Sciences at the UC de Temuco, Chile.

Ieva was the Chilean administrative-organizational counterpart of the bi-national organising committee of the International Symposium “Gobernanza y Cambios Territoriales: Experiencias Comparadas de Migración de Amenidad en las Américas” (20-22 of October 2011 in Pucon, Chile) sponsored by the Canadian Government and Chilean CONICYT.
7. Organising the International Conference “Regional Trade Agreements: The Fragmentation of International Trade Law” (29th May, 2010, in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic) with the sponsorship of the Inter-American Development Bank. The Conference was part of the Final Oral Round (ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO law – EMC2). Technical supporter of the EMC2 is the WTO – World Trade Organisation (Geneva).
8. Organised ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO law with the Technical Support of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) (2002 – 2012). Ieva was the team leader in 2003, 2004 and 2005, and later Academic Supervisor (event quality control and support of the organisers), in 2006-2012. Venues included Adelaide (Australia), Bogota (Colombia), Brussels (Belgium), Geneva (Switzerland), Guatemala City, (Guatemala), Mexico City (Mexico), Ottawa (Canada), Santo Domingo (Republica Dominicana), Temuco (Chile), Taipei (Taiwan), Vilnius (Lithuania) and Washington D.C. (USA).
