More than 15 years of professional experience in remote sensing applications at national and international levels. Extensive experience in the management of EC, ESA and national funded projects.
Professional experience in system specification, design and management for earth observation, emergency response, emergency management and security as well as environmental monitoring and new technologies for health applications.
Experience in hazardous environments: work in remote areas (mainly Africa), post-natural disaster environments (mainly forest fires in Europe and USA), mined areas in Latin America and Africa
• HEAT Training – Hostile Environment Awareness Training Germany 2014.
Collaboration with Civil Protection authorities and Military Units including: CNAD (National Demining Authority of Chile), Humanitarian Demining Authorities in Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Argentina y Nicaragua, International Demining Centre (CID, Madrid-Spain), UME (Military Emergency Unit of Spain), Civil Protection authorities of Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece, UN Agencies, ICRC, UNICEF.
